  • Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sts Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Macedonia (1977).
  • Studied at the Medical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria (1971–1974).
  • IM residency at the University of Sts Cyril and Methodius in Skopje (1984–1988).
  • Specialist Exam in Internal Medicine, Committee of Health, Employment and Social policy in Skopje, Macedonia (1988).
  • Subspecialisation in Cardiology (2007).
  • Cardiology department at the Military Hospital in Skopje, Macedonia (1988-2000).
  • Took part in the First educational seminar in Echocardiography in Skopje (1996).
  • Department of Invasive diagnostics and Echo-lab at the Central Military Hospital, Koblenz, Germany (March – September 1998).
  • Bundeswehrsprachenamt in Naumburg, Germany (1997-1998).
  • Center for Cardiosurgery, Filip II, Skopje, Macedonia (2000-2008).
  • First educational seminar in Echocardiography, Vienna, Austria (October, 2003).

  • Grader for the subspecialties of Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE). Invited by the Accreditation Committee of the European Association of Echocardiography (EAE) in 2008. Reaccreditation obtained in 2012.
  • August, 2008, Dr Vasileva opens her private clinic "Vasileva Cardio" where she continues to work to date.
Primary Area of interest:
  • Preoperative assessment of patients with coronary artery diseases, Valvular diseases, diseases of the Aorta, cardiac tumors, congenital Heart diseases. Preoperative, intraoperative, postoperative Transoesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
  • TEE diagnostic of the Acute Aortic dissection.
  • Assessment of the mitral insufficiency, preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative.
  • Intensive care and invasive monitoring. Postoperative management of the patients.
  • Author and co-author of research papers, took part in domestic and international congresses and seminars.
